3 days ago I can back from school pretty late, around 10 pm. I was just driving casually home when I see this VW golf zoomed by me, so I though, why not, speeded up and tried to catch him. well, he was doing 80 to 90 on a pretty crowded street, so I didn't get too close to him. few miles later, we got to a stop sign (with 2 lanes), we talked for a lil and decided to go at it. I got a jump on him on the start, barely leading through 1st and 2nd, I mean barely, but by the time we hit 60, he was gone! we went at it for a few times, same result every time. Later he told me he's car was a turbo, chipped. Man, those things are fast! BTW, I'm completely stock. Watch out for those VW, chipping it does wonders...

 

ya...agree with ya...those things are fast....i had a gs-r before the s and i raced a turbo one with filter and exhaust....same through 2nd and by third... i had him by about a car....not much difference tho.....and i think our s is faster than a 95 gsr tho.....u know what i mean?.....oh ya...my gs-r at that time had filter and exhaust......don't know....correct me if im wrong.....

 

You are correct...however the cl-s with good tires and a CAI will close the gap ...if you want to smoke him add headers and nitrous. One of our boys in town has a CLS with headers, aem cai, jet puter and nitrous and is running 13.70's
