CLS vs. Vette
I was leaving the office yesterday and I noticed this dude I had my meeting with got into a Vette. I get into my car, and we both proceed onto the highway. Rt. 78 in Morristown. Anyway, he takes off before me and i chase him down the road. The road dips to the right sharply and I attempt to take it only to have my ass end break loose and as i try to overcorrect, i look like an ass in his rear view almost careening into him at the stop sign before the on-ramp. fuckin fwd cars. anyway.... we get onto the highway and i actually pass him before he jumps on me realizing we're about to go at it.. we do a couple 80-110 runs. he passes me when i move out of the way into the middle lane and he does a few bursts at 80 to 110 a few more time. i was rather impressed how well i stayed on his ass (i was in 3rd when i would punch it) and he never got away from me and i did pass him a few times. 15 miles later he got off and we both gave each other thumbs up.... good runs.... i upheld the acura cls name

C5 is the current bodystyle, has much more rounded bodywork, and would have walked all over you if he was really racing. C4's are a little sharper edged on the outside, and if it was a L98 would probably be a good race for a modded 6 speed CL-S.
ya having the 99ss, and the 01 cls with a cai and headers from 80-110 is simply ridiculous. The camaro is marching away at that speed quite impressively. Honestly, the camaro probably would hit 125 in the time the cls would hit 110 from an 80 stomp, and that's the bang for buck mods to the cls.
maybe a c4 lt1, and definitely a c4 l98 this could be. Have to line the cls up against my brother's 97 formula LT1 for a comparo for you guys, we never seem to get together though.
