On they way back from an abandoned airport I was doing like 70mph on the Belt Pkwy when I see a 2004 s430 up my ass. He passes me and we start playing the follow the leader game. For a big car that thing handeled pretty well because when he was cutting through cars it looked pretty steady. Anyway I was chasing him on an open lane and i stood with him but it did not look like i was catching up that much. And then when I passed him he was in back of me and i floored into from 5rpm in 3rd gear and he stood right on my ass the whole time unitl i hit redline and I eased off. I had one passanger in the car with me (220 lbs) plus chrome 18inch rims, subs w/ enclousure. The s430 was all empty. That car only has 279hp and does 15's in the 1/4mile, how was I not catching up that quickly if even and how the fuck was he staying up my ass. Does all the shit that I have in the car make that much of a difference? I talked to him after because he lived in my neighborhood and he said that he was stock blah blah blah and that he has a BMW 745iL too thats faster. I raced the 745 from stop many times and i have beaten it by at least 2-3 cars and I even raced a s500 mulitple times when I had 3people in the car with me and the s500 only won by 1-1.5 cars. Does the outcome with the s430 seem reasonable or could he have had some goodies under the hood. Or are they just slow off the line because they are some fat ass cars and thats what hurts their 1/4 mile too? I have some vids of burn outs in/out of the car and some 0-90mph but i have no idea how to host them because putfile does not like me for some reason. If someone wants i can email then and you can host them.

i always thought S430s were quick like the S500/600. i need to do some research on them now.
