Did it or did it not say REVISTED on the thread?
i don't give a $$$$ how old it is. if the cars still exists it's relevant.
And no I didn’t read the date…..

Everyone was running slower than they had or expected. My father-in-law couldn't break 15's in an SC430.
That was one of my worse times of the day but I also had luggage in the trunk and no prep as this was an out-of-town event.

i've driven a sc430 and a ls430, but no gs 400 or 430 yet, it is just me or they dint seem to fast at all, i mean there pretty quick but a lightly modded cl-s should have no problem w/ a gs in a 1.4 mile, i dont see how u guys are sayin a gs is quicker than a 540, i know stock vs astock auto vs auto a 540 will walk the gs

my money would be on the 540....
the slowest i've seen a 6spd 540i run at pomona is 14.3@102.
and that guy didn't launch too well, it's probably a challenge getting that 3800 lb beast off the line.
never seen an auto run but it can't be much slower than that.

The feel is deceiving and not a good indicator of the ability. These cars are meant to be refined and as such try to hide their ability. But in the end they all do pull well. My old automatic CL-S with the basics had a hard time pulling on the SC430; to 100 MPH I could only get about a car or two on him.
Actually, the top speed may be higher on the GS (don't know for sure though) so in almost one and a half miles the GS may be going faster.
