CLS vs Camaro RS
CLS vs Camaro RS
Hello Again ALLLLL.....
Just thought I would share another experience with my baby...
I love this road on 11th Street that is just a long straight road that turns into an on ramp for the freeway.
I was sitting at the Red light where there are two regular lanes and the third is the merging lane...this lane is about .5 mile long until it ends.
A Red Camaro RS <newer model> pulled up with a young gentleman in the car. He had the shiny chromed out rims and the flowmaster exhaust running. I saw him earlier and knew he had a stick shift because of the cars reaction to him changing gears.
I looked over at him because I wanted to check out the car since I have an older camaro myself. He looked at me thinking I wanted to race...so OH WELL .....lets get it on!!!
The light turned green and we went...at the start we were next to one another with me just having the front of the car lead on him. After I changed to 2nd, I started pulling away on him...I can hear him downshifting and taking his car to the limits...nonetheless I was well ahead of him to pull into the lane at the dead end. When we got on the freeway in communating traffic he pulled up next to me and gave me the thumbs up...I waved at him and I went on my way.....I'm glad I still dont pull up on anyone with my camaro...ewww....just use it as a stereo show car now....
2001 CLS w/ navi no mods as of yet.....will soon get:
comptech headers/exhaust
CAI
comptech lower springs
Spoiler
rims
two 12" db+ with two mono exceleon amps running them with a custom molding inside along with blue lights
REAL SOON I HOPE...perhaps all after tax return...HAHA

Nothing like a nice kill before the holidays! Good job!!
. . . Just as long as you can ID the "RS" and not a "SS"
becuase I drove an SS convertible w/ an SLP exhaust, hurst shifter, and a 6sp. and all I can say is bring an extra neck along, cuz this thing F'ing hauls azz!
But you knew that.

yeah those rally sports suck ass. They should be called really slow or really suck. SS on the other, as xenon_7 mentioned, aren't so easy to mess with.
150 SHOT!!! HOLY CRAP
BTW- my thoughts on the RES:
...it was the night before christmas, hauling ass down the road , not a Supra around, just an SS on blow! I revved my CLS w/ the RES in place, soon to pass that SS w/ a smile on my face. He may have a 75, and he may have a 150, but w/ a new RES for christmas, all could be merry. (still not enough to that SS).
Mod and be safe!
