I was just curious to see how many people in here where also into Streetbikes. I figured us who drive cl's like elegance, power and speed and that would go hand and hand with streetbikes. I ride a 2001 ZX7R and was just curious if anybody else shares my passion for both the CL and Streetbikes??

I just sold my 01 gixxer (Suzuki GSXR) 750. Looking to get a house and then I will by another one. I have owned 3 already.

 

yzf 600, cr85 dirt bike, mini chopper, 2 small pocket rockets, i also cruse my dads honda vtx 1800c...I should post pic of all my toys.... I love them all, I almost got 05 r1 but decided to save my credit for a house as well... Im wheelie king too..front and back..

 

I drive a Tl and A R1 (check the signature) the r1 is my 4th streetbike before that were many dirt bikes.

 

Funny you mentioned bikes. I was actually going up to PHX this weekend to look @ a 2002 DUCATI, 998 Yellow. We'll see though...

 

That's a gorgeous bike, i was looking at a 2002 749SS but decided against it. From what i have read and heard from owners, Ducati's don't have the best track record and they cost a arm and leg to fix.

good luck finding one-my girlfriend's brother had one in raven and totaled it last week. went to order a new one in raven and was told they are not available in raven anymore this year. could possibly find a new-used one maybe. they are hard to come by

You just have to love doing 0-60 in first gear ... and in less than three seconds :>)

 

01-cl, 02-vfr800, 01-rc51, (all HONDA) you have to love the fit & finish of Honda.

 

Dont have a CL, but looking to get one, 2001 pref. that way my bike and my car would match. 2001 YZFR-6 Team Yamaha Blue!

Except for the three years I spent in the army, I have had at least one two wheeled jackass in the garage since 1967. Current ride is an oddball three banger BMW K75s I bought new in 1990. I am looking for an interesting old single to restore and putt around on.

Well when i started this thread i had a "01" ZX7R. One of my good friends wants my bike and being black and silver i guess it's hard to find. Well he calls me up on Friday and says if he buys this "02" R1 which is decked out will i trade him for my bike. So i said to him let me check it out and see. Well the bike is flawless and he is a mechanic and checked everything out and said the bike is mint. So i am going to trade him. I thought my ZX was fast but jesus the R1 feels like a 600 but with the powerplant of a 1K I hope this is the right move

i own a 03 cbr 600rr full custom. custom paint (white with pearl red)... lockhart phillps bike boltz kit (blue) ....fmf titanium pipe (blue)... sporttech chrome windscreen. im waiting for my vortex 520 sprocket kit to come in. (got blue rear sprocket blue ek xring chain) Up 2 teeth in rear down one in front (pretty much like up 5 teeth in the rear).... um carbon fiber gas lid cover, carbon fiber trip tree cover. after market mirrors flush mount turn signals.. fender elim kit and on and on and on.. so yes some of us ride

 

The bike sounds sweet (post a pic if u have 1). Up 2 and down 1, that's some serious pop.Must be a bitch to keep on 2 wheels

 

I used to drag my zx-9r 10.7s (k&n air filter, full ti muzzy exhaust system, polished frame/rim lips, clears and rear plate kit) all the time till it got stolen, and I couldn't afford the insurance b/c of all my tickets, so talk about a big loss. :| After dragging bikes, it's kind of worthless racing cars like ours, but hey, what else is there to do.

 

well see its taken some time to get the sproket here. and the race shop is the cheapest to install it at $160 for 1.5 hr worth of work... the dealers want close to 200.. i have some pics on my comp while i was painting it but none in a while. i no longer have a digi cam. just my digi camcorder but i need a new bat for it. let me see if i can find a pic of it on here
