Question CLS Hi-Beam Bulbs on ebay - Anyone bought it before?

Hi guys, I was thinking about upgrade my high beam bulbs, so their color can match with the low beam's. I came across this item on ebay and the price was just too tempting. The link is here: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...6444&rd=1&rd=1 . Have any other CL owners here bought this brand before? Does it worth the money? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Why do you want your high beams to match your lows? No one is going to see it, unless you drive around with your high beams on... If your going to replace the high beams i would replace with something that would give you better vision at night.

Here in Canada...we have DRL (Daytime running light); I think it is actually using the high beam bulb, but at a lower output level. I saw people purposely turned on their low beam during the day times; it looks cool, but it would certainly reduce the low beam bulb's life time. So, it would be nice if the high beam can have the same color as the low beam.

Ya well good luck with DRL on the CL. You would have to rewire your high beams onto a switch, cant have only high beams on i tried

those are cheap ass bulbs they say they are xenon but they're not they are HID-look (blue tinted halogen bulbs) that honestly look like shit if you are gonna do it i would go with PIAA they are a little pricey i think $90 for a set of xtreme whites. i would go with those

Don't go with PIAAs for your high beams. They are a waste of money. I tried them and they are actually dimmer than the stocks and look nothing like they say they do.

I see. Are there any recommended brands other than PIAA? Btw, nice blue lighting mod in your pic!

I have PIAA platinum 4300K DOT approved high beam bulbs. They are fine.

yes silverstars look good but the life of them is pure crap. Many have said it and ive seen it first hand that these things burn out after a few months.
