They didnt mod their car enough thus not making them stand out thus they were hit by someone that did not know they were there......thats the only reasonable explanation. jk But seriously it makes me want to make my car out of tank armor too bad the transmission can't take the extra load

It's only a CLP (look at the rims)... and it's at a body shop (sign says express estimates), so they'll fix her right up...

You guys have to realize that these cars are old now. They are cheap, and people with little driving experience are buying them. They are going to get cracked up...

Please no commments on grammar/spelling/command of the English language.
You've actually have broken 3 rules here, but I'll let you figure out the other 2...

yea, seems like this is happening to a lot of CLs these days...

i just left mine in the parking lot of town tire and loved the way it stood out, even among BMW's, newer cars, etc. it's definitely unique (especially with the TL kit )

i have a 2001 Black CL-S and this thread got me thinking......wow my car is 8 years old now! I fly planes and usually a jetliner isn't considered "old" until like 15-20 years.

Although I have a 1993 Camry that still is great, with no replacement of usual parts that wear with age, like rubber belts, hoses, etc

Hope the CL can hold up!

The CLs are as cheap as Integra GS-Rs were when I was shopping around for one 9 years ago. The age bracket is decreasing rapidly since these cars are becoming more affordable.

Whoa some heavy moderation lately.

Anyway, I don't think that the CL is as "endagered" as you guys say it is. I'm sure a lot of younger guys are buying Tegs or civics not CL

You're making an argument over the past 4 crash threads...

I've formed my opinion based on what I've seen here over the past six and a half years... and on the insurance rates charged for age groups.

We NEVER saw crash threads when these cars were basically new (I joined in Aug 2002)... now we seem to see them once or twice a week...

Sure the last few have been drunks or rearend crashes, but there's been a lot more over the past couple of years that were clearly the CL drivers fault.

I'd love to hear a better reason for why the cars are getting wrecked more ??

If you don't think that people under 25 are more apt to get into car accidents, then I'm not going to try to explain it to you.

There's a reason why your auto insurance goes down when you turn 25, but I'm sure you won't believe the insurance actuaries either because they are probably old too...

considering its now 2009, and this very thread we're posting in was created in 2009, i assumed that it was made in reference to the many RECENT crash threads (not the past 6 years). I simply pointed out that the 3/4 that i could find in the first few pages of the CL forums weren't the cl owners fault, regardless of age or "generation".

and aznkid, if i was banned from this site, for whatever reason, im sure id live, but thanks for your slick comment
