cls cams

Can cls cams be dropped into clp heads with no other mods like stand alone or piggy backs?
Can the normal clp ecu figure the changes by itself or would a auto cls ecu be a solution ?
Also our cams can be changed without removing the heads correct?
looking to grab a pair if this can be done someway,if not I guess I'll be saving for a EMB and harness next, since it will be needed anyway.
Anyone got cls cams in their clp ?

Questions questions, I got alot,I know.

yes the cams are a direct drop in and the ECM will handle it just fine. It's just like adding headers.....

the ecu should be able to handle the cam change, but if you want maxinum benifit, it needs to be tuned

I would get valve springs just to be safe, from what I was told the cl type s cams are somewhat aggressive.

Id search around for the complete heads. Youre intake (?) valves arent the same size so Id wonder if running the CL-S cams would be an upgrade.

the cl cams have larger lobes(sp?). so it will be a + in power but getting the whole head would be that much better. ill have 2 spare heads in a few months.

^PM'n

I'm almost sure it will give gains cams alone.
And it would be beter to have the complete heads.
I would do some work to them.before they were installed
