CLS-6 and CL-S throttle body differences?

CLS-6 and CL-S throttle body differences?
just wanted to know because i want a typeS TB for my '99TL and i know the AT CL-S will fit but i want to make sure if the CL-S 6speed is the same because the dud i who's offering his TB is from a MT CL-S.

Look at the throttle body for the 2003 CLS 6-speed. Check the price and part #. (GYB3A) CLS6SP
Look at the throttle body for the 2001 CLS auto. Check the price and part #. (GY 35B) for CLS, (GY67A) for CL
What VSA wire? Are you sure you aren't talking about the TSC control valve?
I looked over the Helms for the CLS, and not sure what you're talking about...

yea sorry i meant the TSC......
back to the question.....TB is the same but the assembly is diff? I guess that would be right way of phrasing the answer? Althought for the 99 TL i don't know if it has TCS. If so you need a 5AT TB.

so you are saying the 6MT CLS TB wont work for my '99?? that i'd have to get an AT CLS TB (wich i know it'll work, its been done by many members of a-tl)
Do you guys think the AT CL-S TB would be same as the TL-S TB?
ZAPATA, i think you mean TCS, later years have VSA.
*edit: nm, i found TL/CL TBs are the same at the link provided.

welp, EricL and Scalbert are the experts....take their word before mine but if the assembly is diff on the 6MT and the 5AT because of the diff in TSC I would imagine the pieces would not match up.
