does anyone know where I can get the CLK style side mirrors for my CL??

 

no offense but don't be that guy. you have a nice car; don't ghetto it up. It'll look like you wanted a mercedes but couldn't afford it.

 

I have not seen any after market mirrors for the CL-S. If you mean the ones with the turn signals in them, they also are not made for our car.

 

Try a Mercedes dealership.

 

yeah, I wouldn't like that look, but i would love to find some mirrors that don't create as much wind noise.

I heard that they re-did the mirrors on the 03's. So I'm sure we could retro them to a 01, but what would it consist of? i'd be interested if it can be done for like $150 a side. Thats if there's a big difference.

Any other options?

and I have a CLK also so I can afford it

 

I don't know about having a signal on the side mirrors... but have anyone consider of having more round side mirrors... perhaps like the CLK's without signals or even the M3 mirrors?

 

lol I wasn't implying you couldn't afford a mercedes, I was only saying that others who see your car on the road might think you're a wannabe... It's really up to you what you do to your car obviously, I was just giving my opinion based on the comments I've heard on this board and elsewhere about similar cross-brand part transplants.

i would get it if they had it for our cars but as far as i know they dont. i dont see whats wrong with having it

 

So the '03 CLS's mirrors are redone? Did they ever get to take care of the sick blind spot that the '01s have. Or did they just reduce the wind noise generated by the mirrors?

The mirror's were redone in 2002, there's no change in those for 2003.
