Fellas. I'm jealous.

That looks bad ass!

Maybe I can make an excuse to myself:
since the left headlight housing has a gap larger than the right one, here's my chance

That looks GREAT, but it sure seems like a pain-in-the-ASS to do.

I read the instructions in the other post.

prikid....thanks for posting it for me....i got more pictures...I will send them to you so u can post it for me...is that cool? Thanks

Yes it was a real pain in the ass to do this. It took me a day. The worst part is prying open the heeadlight and taking off the silicone. But, it was well worth it and now im loving my car even more. I thanks guys who have posted the instructions here. I wouldnt have known how to do it without you people.

Keep up the good work.

Not to be a pisser, but I wonder if this is totally legal.

Aren’t there inspection regulations that require certain size & COLOR reflectors on the front & rear of the car?

OK i just ran into a problem. Right now its rainy outside and there's alot of humidity. I just looked at my headlights and i see it a little bit fogged up. I'm kinda sad because I dont know the solution to this problem. I mean I really did completely sealed the headlights. Hopefully its the weather and when its sunny, it will not fog up. For the next few days, i will try to find a solution. If you guys know anything....feel free to email me at rappedin20s@aol.com or respond here. Thanks

My guess would be that the headlights are assembled in a cleanroom type environment where there is no water vapor in the air.
Or they are somehow “purged” of air after they are assembled.

I hate to tell you, but you may be stuck with the “fogging”.

I found out the problem....The problem was the silicone i was using....I was using the wrong silicone. U must use silicone 2 made by GE. I had to take it apart and reseal it. This time i tested it in the bathroom by steaming the room and putting duct tape over the holes for the corners and soon enough it wasnt fogged up. Now i have to figure out a way not to open up the hole be4 i put the headlights back in the car

RTV 157 Sealant works really well, and I'm sure you can get it at any Lowe's or Home Depot.

X3.2CLSX, Did you just heat up the old sealant or did you actually add more sealant over the original?
