Phillips Screw

Yes... mine were really tight too and I stripped one of them - had
to drill the damn thing out and put something else to replace it.
Try using a flat-head with a big handle....

I just did mine this past weekend. 2 of those screws came out easily and 1 was a BIIIIIATCH!!!! But it finally came loose. It seems that the screws and the paint bond to one another so it sticks.

BTW, be VERY careful when separating the lens from the black section of the housing. If you get ANY silicone on the chrome part of the lens and try to remove it you will be fucked. The chrome comes off VERY easily. Solvents just make it worse. I ended up having to paint a section of the chrome on BOTH lenses (to make them symmetrical.) Anyway, the results were still awesome. Love the look.

You guys should try the soldering-iron technique... prevents having to remove the housing etc. Just stick the soldering iron (carefully) to melt the amber portion.. then use a needle-nose to pry the pieces out!
