So ive been calling places today to find a place to do a clear bra for me. Every place i called quoted me 500 or more for the film plus install. Are all these ppl crazy or what. Why does everyone on here say it is so cheap.

Cheap compared to a good paint job I guess. You're gonna pay that much for someone to do it with quality material, cut right, and applied right. You can do it yourself for less but be prepared for it to not look as nice and it's a bit of a crap shoot to see if the pieces are sized right if you order the cheaper stuff.

yea looks like im gonna set up an appointment to get it done for 400 using 3m material. gonna get car tinted at same time for 275 at a reputable shop. Im too picky to do it myself id want it perfect. I spent over 3k on a paint job so might as well spend another 400 to protect it.

Ive been toying with that idea. The vinyl wraps are awesome. Just not a matte finish.

Ill just stick with the clear bra myself, no color would look good on metallic silver imo and why would i pay to cover what I just paid to get painted.

yes..... for the flaming LOL I dont really care cause I like the look of cf but I have 210k km on my car so I dont want to drop over a g in to a trunk and hood (probably 2gs my the time it gets to canada) but it would be nice for weight,But I just sold an 02 Viper GTS at work so my boss gave me a demo for the week (06 vett) so Ive put my plans on hold for the time being
