Cleaning the inside of headlamp housing without taking it apart
hey guys,
apparently one of my headlight housing isnt completely sealed. it has been raining for awhile in california, and my headlight was fogging up, and now i can see some water spot inside the headlight housing. i will remove the headlight from the car and try to clean it with some type of chemical cleaner, however, i will not take the headlight apart. do you know any cleaner that is safe for the plastic headlight and chrome reflector? plus it will also be strong enough to remove water spots inside the housing? lastly i will probably use filtered water to prevent water spot once the thing is dried. would you please help? thanks.

i think you should reseal it before the lens starts to turn yellow, and your bulbs begin to blow. just my 2 cents.
as for cleaners..im not sure. i just used a clean rag to wipe off smudge marks on the shiny reflector.

thanks for the suggestion, but i'm not planning to open the headlight housing, therefore, i wont be able to clean it with a rag.
yes, i will plan to patch the headlight up with some silicon to make sure its definately seal this time.
