I recently went shopping for a new SUV for my wife which enabled me to sample the best that Volvo, Lexus, Toyota, and American manufacturers have to offer. After sampling the C70 and others I am so glad I bought the CL-S. It was so much smoother and refined then the Volvo as well as about $10K cheaper. Everyone who drives or rides in my CL raves about it. Also I got a RSX loaner about a week ago and when I got back into my CL it felt like a million. Acura of Memphis also is first rate.
By the way my wife is the proud owner of a fully loaded Highlander 34K list discounted $2800. Best bang for the Buck. $MDX was $6500 more

 

Those my observations as well when I was shopping for my car 3 months ago. It doesn't make sense why more people don't but this car. I guess they can't think for themselves.

 

should have bought the pilot

 

Pilot was nice but the Highlander is more refined and luxurious. It is actually based on the new Camry while RX300 is based on the old Camry. It is so roomy and smooth and quiet. The 6 cylinder is perfect fit. The pilot is nice but we rode in one right before the HIghlander and it was no contest for my wife. Highlander just looked and felt better. Sort of like when I saw and drove the CL the first time. Ironic cause we really looking at the MDX or RX 300 initially and we just stopped at Toyota as an afterthought.
