So heres the story:

We have been wanting to race for quite sometime, and we finally had a chance to do a run..

so were heading towards Ihop iwth some other friends and we hit a strait away.. (its kind of a hot Straitaway so we were skeptic)

so we are side by side going bout 40mph.
i downshifted to 2nd on SS. and was at about 4000rpm. steady.

he punches it first he has a 6speed and he quickly pulls half a car on me, i floor it in 2nd at 4k and immediatly hit vtec and pull ahead he shifts and gets another haf on me i shift and get back to even then im in 3rd vtec hits and i start pullling and he shifts and slowly reeled me back in then i shift into 5th and im at about 115mph now and he shuts down... and so do i.

he gave me props and i think it was def a heads up race and very close! not only was i suprised but he was as well and def said he was going to his full potential.

 

your story makes me happy I didn't trade my CL in for a Z. Mad props to you for hanging with a modded Z, esp a 6-speed.

 

haha yea i love Z's but they are pigs ! he also has subs... 2 12" type-Rs and i was like get rid of those haha...

nice job staying with a modded one, i smoked a 350 (fairlady some shit), pretty sure it was stock, and it had its top down. so lucky me,

 

Yeah good job I have beaten a few Z's, they're a great race, regardless of mods.

that's awesome and at the same time kindof a letdown; i've always loved Z's and now i know they're not much better than our cars haha

so after he shifts he has 1 car length on you? if you were a 6 speed it would have been much evener. but i think he could have gotten more than 1 car length on you.

but nice run none the less.

 

like i said i was in 2nd arond 45mph at a steady 4000k Rpms... if u have a auto CL get in 2nd and at 4000rpms mash the pedal... u imediatly hit Vtec and there is No delay whatsoever then just downshifting ...

 

nice, run...dangerous place to race at...i work in milestone shopping center. i wish i could produce the same results though, everynight i come home and see my brothers 350 think i can take it but i remember its boosted so no point lol

Nice race, I always love messing with G's Z's and mustangs (certain ones anyway!)

I know the Z has the fart cans, but I always thought the CL exhaust and bumper integration looked much better than G/Z's.

 

I like the front of the Z and the rear on the G...not the whole car particularly of either one...

 

i LOVEE the rears on the G35's.... speaking of which, i just punked oneon 124 just now.... comming home from my friends...
