Yea, the model I posted weighs 6.6lbs and costs more then $200. My Odyssey cost me about $120. Im keeping my battery in the front of the car. I dont feel safe having something that can spark right next to my fuel cell.

I use a light weight braille battery in my CL. It is not the CF version but is quite powerful. I have yet to try it with my system that is not installed yet. I want to mount it flat, its standing upright as of now because I need to make the grounding wires longer. You can have the terminal posts is one of two positions on this particular battery.
If anyone is interested the part number is b2015 and I got it from Jegs.

I have the 15 pound Braille battery (non-CF) in my TL. It cost around 120. I dont remember there being a huge difference in price between the 15lb and the 12lb Braille, maybe like 20-30 dollars

I think I paid $160 for that battery. They threw in the mount for free too. When I first installed it I felt an easier crank and start. My butt dyno felt some difference too. I mean it takes 20+ pounds off the front tire... Can't hurt.
I discovered braille and their batteries from reading the guy who did the "TL Diet" over on the 3G side. He recommended using a trickle charger if your not goin to drive the car for over a week. That's what I have done over the winter since my car is not a dd. Started it up this weekend with no problems.

+1 If you have anything less than 15lbs, and you leave it to sit for over a week, it'll die. The more often the battery dies, the more difficult it'll become to take a charge after a while. I used to drive the spyder every weekend, if I didn't get a chance then I would start it up and let it idle for 10 minutes. As long as you don't have a short in your electrical system you should be okay. Another good thing to have is a shut-off switch, mostly used in race cars it is great for shutting down all the power going through the battery and it'll save every little bit of energy.
I have one if anybody needs one. $10 shipped.
