CL-S & TL-S vs G35 & RSX-S!

Well, tonight me and my friend went out cruising for a little bit after we picked up two other friends. I was driving my CL and he was in his TL and we head out onto 495.

We get off 495 onto 395N towards DC. This is where the fun starts, we merge with a black G35 and a Silver RSX-S. We were all hitting it at the same time, so we all get into the left lane one after the other and get up ahead, then the light! A wide open highway, I was behind the other 3, so my friend is staying infront of this G35 as they go at it, and im just shocked. So I hit it after getting out the left lane and im pulling in easily on this G35, as soon as I get next to him, he brakes...He hits it with my friend again, so I follow, once again, I get next to him, he brakes!!! This guy was trying to save himself the embarassment infront of his girlie, but he still got raped by my friend's stock, yes, STOCK TL-S...and I honestly don't know where the hell the RSX friend was left...So this little G35 got gangbanged by two Acura's one of them stock. I just couldn't believe how he got scared everytime I'd get next to him.

depending upon the year a G35 has as little as 260HP out of the 3.5L abd as much as 298 (2006)

They tested a 2004 TL against a G35 and MT stated that the TL was .5 Sec quicker to 60 and the quarter mile time

well the 260hp versions are all sedans...this was a coupe, so if its an 03-04 is 280hp-270tq stock, if its the 05-06, its 298hp-260tq...they're still about even with the torque difference

eh, im glad i didn't get one...i like my cl-s alot more

...sounds like the G35 did a Maxima and blew the MAF sensor. Go easy out there guys. For the few folks who want to make some highway runs, there are many more who just want to get to their destination s a f e l y!!

G35's are quick for sure...both AT should have been close enough to be a drivers race with TLs. If it was 6MT he should have smoked the TLs as previously stated. Also for the note, 6MT RSXs are just as quick as CLs/TLs. I could have sworn also that MotorTrend tested 6MT '04 G35/'04 TL, and TL was .1 second behind 0-60 at 5.8 and .3 or .4 behind in the quarter?
