Hands down the CL....esp the CL-S. I love my 03 ABP CL_S. The cl is rare, i work on the the road alot and i see alot of 2nd gen tl's driving around and hardly any cl's. The second gen TL just doesnt do it for me, to me it is more then just having 2 extra doors...the cl looks more sleek and stylish compared to the TL. I think the 2nd gen TL just looks a bit outdated

ya. I agree. the TL is way to common and the CL is rare. that was one of the main reasons I chose it. I think I just repeat myself but ya.

I was about to go with a 2001 Accord Coupe V6, and the day my dad was going to the dealership to finalize it and stuff, we got a phonecall from the dealership saying one of the salesman wrecked it by accident while getting food. I was pissed like no other.
I kept looking for a car, and I found an SSM CL-S with low miles, but then when we went to go check it out, we found out it had flood damage, and mold in the trunk!
So now I was convinced that i had the crappiest luck with cars, and at that same dealership we found a TL, and i had just stopped caring about what car I would get, so I was just like okay lets just get this (yeah, quite stupid of me, but i was desparate for a car, haha). But we didn't get it, and I'm glad, because...
About two weeks before graduation, we found a NBP CL-S with low mileage, and local. I showed it to my dad, but he was kinda ehhh at first because it was $24995, but a couple of days later after school, my dad called and told me to come to the dealership because he had pretty much finalized the CL-S, and bargained it down to $20,500.

So, yes, I ALMOST went with a TL, but only because I was having a hard time finding something better (yes, my dad bought it for me, and no, this doesn't automatically equate to "being spoiled"). I'm glad the TL never worked out, because whenever I see them now, i find myself wondering how I ever liked them...they're too long, the front looks weird with those gigantic ass headlights and grill, and you're guaranteed to see a couple every day.

CL 6spd all the way... even with the 2004 TL's coming with a manual, I still don't think there is another car out there that I'd rather have them my CL.

I said when I bought it, that I'd probably keep my CL for 5 years, and it'll be 5 years this October. Since there's nothing out there that I like better then my CL, I'll probably end up keeping it awhile longer...

^^^Amen to that. I haven't seen a car as unique as a CL...the closest thing to it is an Accord coupe V6 but I would feel like I'm downgrading.

There's too much luxury for its value (Even though it's an old car).

I just noticed mine was made in 2000.

Comming from a 2002 TL-S to a 2003 CL-S6 I think the front end on the 2nd gen TL looks much better than the CL's front end but the CL's rear end looks much better than the TL's rear end. Never had any trouble with my TL's transmission though. If I was choosing it would be the car that was cheaper with less miles.
