The G35 has power but it's suuuuper ghey. It's an Altima on steroids with an equally ugly interior. I like the body style but the inside needs a shit load of work to make the car appealing.

I like my CLS and the exclusivity it brings. Yea it has a crappy tranny and it's FWD...but I like it anyways. I see every Tom, Dick, and Harriet driving G35's...

The CL is a different animal than the G35. I am 6'1" tall and I can fit in the backseat of a CL without much trouble. I wouldn't want to be there for a 3 hour trip but it's not too bad back there.
The CL never found a market because it is an anomoly... coupe but large, FWD, semi-luxury but not fully sport or luxury. For my needs it is perfect. If it were RWD I'd never give it up.
I still say if Nissan spent more money on better plastics the G35 and 350Z would be closer to Acura.
