It looks like the 2001 MDX barely lost any of its original value and the CL lost its ass big time. What gives with the low resale of our cars?

It boiles down to the fact that the MDX is popular, and people want them, and the CL isnt popular.

 

That's pretty much it, no one really wants a 2-door $30k car..The market is so small on these cars, and there are more then enough of them around both new and used...Unlike the MDX which are hard to come by!!!

 

I had figured there would be a higher resale for the MDX because of its 'soccer mom' popularity but the disparity here is huge...much more than I would have thought. I really don't like the MDX much but if I had known I could drive one for that little cash lost per yr. I may have bought the stupid thing instead of this CL.

Is anyone else getting really tired of this SUV craze??? It's really having a bad effect on the sports car market IMO. If SUVs are still this popular I hope all the hot new sports cars (Z!) coming out don't fall victim to the SUV once again (supra, 300z, rx7..ugh).
