I see a brand new 05 A4 with temp tags all shiny with some guy and his girl drive past me while he looks at my car up and down with that "I am the man in my new Audi" look on his face.

I proceed to catch up and line up with him at about 65mph on open road to see if he will bite. After about 10 seconds I hear him rev and start to take of so its on. We are about even up to 85-90 then I proceed to pass him ever so easily to 110 ish. At this point I have about 2-3 cars on him and he backs off.

This is about the 3rd stock 04-05 stock Audi A4 1.8T that I have beaten. I these things were a little more impressive than that? I know chipped they would kill me but stock for stock it was a pretty easy kill.

BTW the sound of my CAI @ vtec hit right when I was passing his open window. Musta scared the shit outta him

ah only 170hp. That explains it. Always thought they had more HP ?

Nah..they are a piece of crap but look good. I think the A4 3.0 puts out like 210-220hp but still lags. There is a A4 coming out that is pushing 240 but I dont know if it is in a 4 or 6 cyl.

 

05s are beautiful, i wouldnt touch it unless it was an S4..
