CL-P with CL-S engine?

I did some search, but didnt quite get the answer i want.

I have a 01 CL-P, and i came across a type S engine from a 03 6-speed. Letz say i got the engine, will my 01 tranny fits perfectly. Anything else that i should be aware of?

Nope, I could list a 2 page post on the other parts you would need, but it makes more sense to sell your CLP & get a CLS. Or mod the CLP, & you can get it on par with a CLS.

It's not worth it. Sell your car and get a Type S.

Are all the mounts in the same place for the 6 speed engine? And is he going to have problems with mating up the tranny?

Honestly it wont be that hard nor expensive. If you wanted to keep the auto trans though you should look for a motor from the auto. There are some slight variances between the 2.

Agree. Very easy.

The motors are the same. The rear mount is different just for the 6 speed (that and the 2 trans mounts) If you were keeping it auto all the mounts are the same
