Dont know where to start... When I start my car, my car make this bass noise... Kinda similar to hearing 2, 10in speakers bumpin from the distance... During the winter, if i cold start my car, the rpms would jump up to 1-3 rpm, its like some1 is playing with the gas pettle or something. The rpms would jump and down till i would drive the car for awhile... Its not a consistant problem, so of couse acura never found out why it did that..
The front end somewhere squeaks,chirp, almost sounds like im slammin bunns in my bed...Brought in to acura 3 times and they would do ghetto things like adding foam under neath dash, even tho the noise didnt come from there....They still have not fixed, and tommarow its going in again and will be taking a machinic for a test drive...

Dash crackd, the vents pop out...Im just gettin upset at this point..

 

dash is cracked in an 03? i dont think ive ever heard that...wierd

 

Thats what i said.. its like a shape of x and about 1 inch

 

mine does a similar bass noise when the a/c kicks on and off. thats the only thing i can think of.

 

I had a crack in my dash as well. It was replaced under warranty.

For your RPM problem, it is most likely a bad IAC valve. Also replaced under warranty.

The front end noise could be a number of things - hood needs adjusting, springs, loose part somewhere.

 

Could be bad motor mounts also. How many miles? Did you buy it new or used?
The RPM thing I agree would be IAC. You can clean it with some carb cleaner first, it's on the TB.

 

Could the "bass" noise be the ABS sound??

 

Thanks for your inputs everyone. I purchased used with 30k almost a year ago. I brought it in and test drove with service manager....It gets intresting.. Everytime I bring it in the noise seems to dissapear.... He was unable to hear the noise, but he called few hours later and asked if he could drive my car home with him ( 70miles total) and he would bring back tommarow.. Im usually not a fan of borrowing my car to others, but this situation i think it could be more benefitial for me so I gave him the ok. I figured this would be the best way for him to understand the squeeking issue. The noise usually happens on the highway and gets worse with colder weather. I have not taken appart the car so I m not 100% sure, but my guess would be something with suspension, or motor mount... So I'd say good guess for those who guessed that with the little info i have given.
Now the dash, I should have taken a pic of this and showed you guys.. The service manager told me he would need to have his boss make a judgement call on if it would be a warantee issue, so Im keeping my fingers crossed.. To be 100 percent honest, the dash cracked on its own and was not damaged on my end. The vents for the windshield, theres 2 of them and they both pop out and he told me that would be covered, and the driverside window vent on dash pops out all the time as well.
I get the car back tommarow so hopefully something gets fixed.
