It’s possible to make a variation of this work if the appropriate part was added to keep the sensor from outputting a signal that would be “out of bounds”.

This guy is just selling you a cheap-o resistor to put in series with the Intake Air Temperature sensor. Our car should really have an op-amp or “clamp” to keep the temp from reading too low.

I wrote about this thing twice and it's just a resistor to change "fool" the computer into thinking that the intake air temp is lower than it really is. The ECU will adjust the fuel-air mixture, but the timing should be advanced for lower temp air.

A giant rip-off selling a 1-cent resister "chip" without a voltage clamp for $2.99.
