CL fogs switch like the TL's

The TLs have a switch that turns the fogs on/off. Can we do that with the CL?

On the CL (at least on my 01), there's an empty space by the cruise switch that looks like the foglight switch would belong nicely there. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to do this (conceptually at least).

The reason I'm doing this is because I'm getting Polarg M6s, and I've read stuff about them melting the housing and burning out after a few months. So I've decided that I'll just turn on my fogs when I feel like pimping. Otherwise, I'll just leave them off.

Comments? Or better yet, if someone has done this, instructions. Thanks!

well, there's the ever popular response of "do a search" but i think i'll try to be a bit more helpful than that.

try these links to find info about the switch and getting it wired:

I have the polarg m6's in for about 16 months, they have not burnt anything. If you don't touch them during installaton they won't overheat. Finger oil causes hot spots, use gloves or a paper towel for install.

Well, to be honest... you need to have Fog lights in order to do a fog light switch . If you want a switch to turn on your 5-18 watt cosmetic road lamps... then the links in acuraboy's post should keep you busy for a while

haha.... I'm not hating... just messing around. It's an ongoing joke on this board since there are several TL members and mods too... You'll notice it more and more as you're on here.....

For 50 bucks.... having the switch to turn on/off the road lamps ain't worth it. If ur getting it to control aftermarket foggies, MUCH more worth it.
