My exhaust has several leaks, and now just recently the resonator pipe has broken off at the cat. The exhaust is almost completely rusted out. Is it time for new pipes or should I have someone look at it and have it welded ?

To save some $$, might be able to get it without the mufflers, you'd just have to inquire to the vendor?

It all depends. You have one of 3511 manual CL-S', if you plan on keeping this 18+ year old car then perhaps?
If you plan on liquidating soon, maybe a 'patch job' is in order?
There's always some 'Frankensteiner' out there, for the right price, that will swap it into a civic.

 

See if you can find a local exhaust shop. I have one around me that can cut/weld and install resonators/mufflers/cats/piping at a very reasonable price
