a-cl.com pride! (sticker / decal )
I'm relatively new to the forum, but with how much useful information I've found here and the friendly crowd, I figured I would represent out on the road and encourage other CL owners to visit. I've seen other sticker/decals that have been made, but with my 20% tint on white I wanted something that would match nicely and stand out, while not being too big. Here's the result:
The cost was $22 for 2... a bit pricey but I am happy with the result. I also originally had planned to use the official Acura font typeset... but because it's all capital letters that are very wide and not very tall, it would have been over 10" long for a 3/4" high lettering. Instead I went with Tahoma... the standard windows font that you see when you type in a URL address in IE. They priced it originally using the Acura font... I forgot to ask if it would be any cheaper the way I ended up doing it. Oh well.
The letters themselves are vinyl... and supposely will not peel or damage due to moisture for 5-7 years. The blue color you see in the first pic is actually the backing that the letters are attached to initially. There is a transparent piece on top of the letters which is mildly adhesive, but only to keep the letters in place once you have peeled off the blue backing. Push the letters onto the window, then peel off the transparent front layer, and voila.

I put the CT sticker on after the tint so you can't really see it they only shine a bit even though they are on the outside window. THese are not good pics....sorry....next spring once I get wheels...
I normally hate ads on cars but CT did a lot for me and they didn't do it by being loud.
