CL Clock

I just bought a 2001 type-S CL and I have a question. Should the Clock in the dash light up? Mine does not and I can't see it at night and I hate it. What can be done about it?

Thank you,
Bill

I had a rash of dash lights going out, including the clock. One night this summer, it just started illuminating again.

Bad news is...if it's out of warranty...you'll have to pull nearly the whole dash to fix that stupid light...

I saw that in the Helms manual & decided to buy a $2 glow-in-the-dark watch instead.

Thank you for your help. I gave it a sold shol with my hand and it came back on. If or when it goes out again I am going to try the dealer and see what they can do.

Thanks again,
Bill

I had the same problem and got it fixed under warranty. I didn't realize it was a common problem.

I think in the CL-S with Navi model its pretty damn annoying that the clock is so small in the bottom right corner of the navi screen and thats all. I wish there was another space for a bigger clock and they just used the whole screen for the navi.
