The difference between premium and type-s is nowhere as significant as that between is250 vs 350 and 328 vs 335...

 

and yet there are those out there in the is 250 and 328. i realize it not as significant and that's why i stated "similar (not same)". the concept behind it is what is similar. if i had the choice between all these scenerios i would take the type-s, the is350, and the 335.

 

i have a 01 cl-s and im interested in gaining hp i want to buy new comptech headers that will give me 32 hp to the wheels but its gonna cost about 1200 ....i looked around and i was thinking about getting aem headers which will give about 10-15 hp with a greaddy evo ii catback exhaust which would cost about the same price but idk how much hp i would be getting out of the aem headers and greaddy exhaust ....which is a better deisicion to make

 

wow ok, this is an older thread, but for the record and for those of you that dont already know, i ended up purchasing a 2001 NBP CLS....oh and for the last question...save up your money like im doing and buy the comptech headers, i've heard they will be worth it...dont go AEM just save up man...put the proper stuff on your car, not that the other brand headers arent proper...but im relatively sure you cant go wrong with comptech headers...cheers
