Transmission just went out in my 01 CL. I have a shop looking at rebuilding it... However are there rebuilt transmissions out there with warranty that I can buy to just swap out? Will that be cheaper?

Of course there are rebuilt transmissions with warranty; though the warranty period will vary in mileage & time.

Your best bet would be to purchase a transmission from a 2006-2007 accord V6 (the non-hybrid version). It's often referred to as the BAYA or AV6 swap.

If you really care for this car, go with an accord V6 transmission. You will not regret it.
