hey guys hows it going. Tonight i met up with legend4life to talk ( saw his buds race in the cls and wrx on 434) anyways, we decided to race me against his 88 legend ( beater ) hahaha. Anyways, Im rather modified ( top end ) and his car is, well, a beater. SO we wanted to see what would happend if i raed him. ( mind you this beater is F-in fast. so, we go out on the highway near binghampton, switch friends ( even out weight ) and raced. First race from 2nd gear roll i was walked on loosing by about 1 to 2 cars. ( ) i was like HOLY SHIT that beater is fast ( mid 15s mabye ? not sure but comes stock with 160 horse v6 mated with a 5 speed ) although this thing is not a car youd expect to loose to if you see it. So we race two more times going into vestal. Second time we raced again lost by 1 car. Third time raced again this time he started about .5 cars back ( i was going to fast ) and then hit it. He gained in 3rd and won again by about 1 car. We pulled into some round about and talked, all in all it was fun and i enjoyed meeting someone new. I had to get headed home ( my friend went with them to check out there "real" legends. MAD props to legend4lifes beater ahahaha. Never under estimate any car till you race it. Oh yeah, if i didnt know that my car, depending on some variables might win higher, and if didnt love it , i would have SHOT my car and dumped it off a cliff then burnt it its sorry ashes, and pissed on them when i was done. and why would i do such a thing ? well, because his beater only cost 200 dollars

 

 

haha thats great.... what mods have you done ?

 

i have intake, headers, exhuast, and a fully built head so i can rev and make power up in the 7000/s along with ecu. Thats it. but still, i was like WOOOOT. i can beat v6 mustangs, and 1.8ts, but i cant beet this v6 legend so MAD props to that car. I used to have a legend, and it was fast as fuck but, dam. h22 anywon ? hells yes. great person though. I would love to meet up with him again and chill or something. oh yeah, how would nitrous do on my f22 ?

 

i got a 3.0 and there's a modded legend 5spd in my neghborhood i want to run...but i need at least I/E to make it interesting...nice death

Yes I do. My exhaust manifolds are leaking pretty bad and its loud. And once I mis-shifted and over-revved it so I think the valves may be slightly damaged, so my check engine light comes on whenever I race. My stock intake hose/pipe also seems to be broken/disconnected. Also I have some weight reduction from: there is no grill on the front from when I got it hit, and some of the body panels have rusted away and fallen off. LOL

hahaha, its deff a beater, but a fast beater i love that thing. Dude, theres a corolla SR-5 5 speed in the paper thats about as close as it gets to a AE86 right ? let me know
