prepare to get raped. i sat in a 92 civic hb, with ls-vtec ran low 2 mid 13s on street tires, saw it with my own eyes. i am guessing the type r hase more top end then an ls-v but less bottom, it should still break mid 13s, if he can dirve.

He's got a Civic HB with an Intergrea Type R motor swapped into it?

Even with your mods its gonna be tough. But just race him for the hell of it.

Let me chime on this.. My friend has a 92-93 cx JDM B18c(LSD drivetrain) engine with basic bolt on, with stock clutch.. He is running 13.7-13.8(consistent) @ 100-99 mph on street tires.. I hate to say this buy your modded CL-S will not prevail, considering two equal skilled drivers...

I dont know about all this... A b18c5? is that correct for the JDM motor? You'll need a lot more work than just a swap to be breaking 14's like that i think

the stock swap itself should put him in the 14.5+ range, depends on driving skills. but thats only for a "stock" motor. the ls/vtec setup you were talking about must have been built. cause ls/vtec by itself wont do that much damage...

yeah.. B18C5 is USDM ITR Motor...

B18CR is the JDM ITR Motor...

This swap alone in an EK or EG Hatch has been able to run mid to high 13s consecutively on street tires.

I don't remember him talking about any LS/VTEC... I thought it was a JDM B18C5 ITR motor he mentioned. Even an LS/VTEC with a few bolt ons will run 14.0s late or break into high 13s...
