Chrome wing in lower grill...

I have an '03 CL-S and I saw someone with a chrome wing going across their lower grill. I'm pretty sure all you have to do is buy some chrome door trim to do it. I was wondering if anyone could post pics and give me some opinions.

RJ has that on his CL too. i think it's painted not taped, but it looks good on SSM's and some NBP's

I tried putting the door edge molding on mine but i couldn't get it to strech around that part, it has to be paint.

Yup, that's where I got that idea. I'm getting ready to head to the Zone to go buy some stripping. BTW why did that guy get banned?

Update...Pics and DIY

Here is what I used. $10 at AutoZone.

This is what you will need to do this. 1.) Chrome Trim 2.) Rubbing Alcohol 3.) A Rag 4.) A Good Pair of Scissors 5.) A Small Flat Head Screwdriver

1st- Clean the grill with rubbing alcohol.
2nd- Cut the proper amount of trim.
3rd- Get the small screwdriver and pry apart the trim at the slit at the bottom.
4th- Begin applying trim to grill.

From what I remember correctly, he got banned for a few reasons: multiple accounts and scamming in the BM

I'm glad I decided to do this mod. I think it adds a nice touch to the front of the car.

I've been looking into this mod for a bit. I was thinking of taking the bumper off and painting that part. I might buy some of that trim and paint it SSM. Thanks for the DIY.
