chipped paint :(

hey guys I just looked at my hood from the trip home from college and found a paint chip about the size of a penny and with black paint its really easily spotted. The black paint has little blue sparkles in it so how much do you think the acura dealership will charge to fix the problem?

Dealerships don't deal with paint.

Body shops do.

A dealership will deal with it, but get ready with the astroglide....I hear those dealer paint shops enjoy the anal rapage coexistant with payment

Try to see if you can fix it up with touch up paint. Just remember to put multiple layers on. I would try to fix it up, until your entire hood needs repainting. At that time get the whole hood painted.

That sucks dude. I have the same problem except on the lower left corner of my driver side door. Worst part is it's dinged too. Not even sure how it happened. Know of any body shops in Houston that do dent repair for good price.

a touch up should cost no more than 65 bucks. if you want the whole hood repainted its a dif story. expect to pay any where from 150 to 300 to repaint the hood
