"CHIP"
My girlfriends little brother just got his 2001 Wolfberg Jetta 1.8t "chipped" last night.
HOLY SHIT!!!...he is gonna g-tech it this week, but my guess is that he is easily gonna be in low six, maybe even HIGH 5 SECOND range...THis car is absolutly fast as shit..i am a little nervous about the challenge already sent my way in my CL-S..
Supposedly, he is gaining close to 60hp with this chip to his all ready stock 150hp turbo engine bumping him to 210. This car is no joke.
IS there anything like this available for the CL-S..if so, count me in!!!
Anyone with INFO please let me know.
thanks

well,
As for chips, maybe people will say that 60 hp from one chip is not possible...i for one am one of them.
As for the CL-S there is a company that reamps your fuel and engine settings to get out at least 10-15 extra ponies. it is the jet performence labs or something like that. there is a member on here that has this done do a search of jet chip or ecu chip and check the sigs of the members that posted in those topics sound say " jet performence chip"
hope this helps,
dantes
btw: get comptech headers

I saw two Wolfberg Jetta's run at the track last week. It was in the upper 80s. They both were pretty decent drivers and both had their cars chipped. The best either of them ran was 14.55
Their avg was between 14.8-15.1
So I thing you should be able to keep up with him pretty well, actually it should be pretty close to even, put headers and the pullys in and you got him for sure. If not just get some NOS and blow his brains out.

My boy got a Passat 1.8T chipped, and he runs 7 0-60 and 15 qater mile. I beat him but he raced a 3.2 TL when I was with him and it was pretty even.
