Cherish your CL
it's been 2 months since i sold my CL-S and i still miss it. enjoy these moments guys, the CL is a special car that only other CL owners can identify with. had it for over 8 great years. i am enjoying the new car (an Accord coupe 6-6), but my CL will always have my heart.
i also still have some parts from the CL. some new that never got installed, and some used so check for a thread in the black market soon.
drive safe fellas and thx to those who have helped out along the way

i think it was about 1.75" in front and about 1.5" in the rear. there was 2 versions made (2 different part #'s). the first version had a bit of rear sag. i believe they corrected it with the second version
mine had the rear sag, but also had subs in the trunk

sorry man, i thought you were just curious about the drop. the springs are gone. only thing left in my sig is the Comptech axle backs (great condition). also have a couple new, still sealed parts: IAC valve, 2 front ball joints and 6 new NGK spark plugs. might have more parts, i'll check tonight

That's why I haven't seen you learking as much on here as I used to, used to see your comment on lots of threads on here. Nice X-CL, how does the new accords compare to the CL? Whats the pros/cons?

the Accord is pretty nice. compared to the CL, it's very similar actually. 1st thing i noticed is how much bigger it is than the CL. it also feels quicker and has a lot more torque, but i miss the 'driving experience' the CL has.
pro's:
-accord is more roomier
-feels more solid on the road or highway at higher speeds
-interior is a lot nicer then the CL
-gas mileage is a lot better
-the higher torque feels good
-navi is easy to use, xm radio and factory system is better than i was expecting
con's:
-CL rear end looked amazing
-better driving feel w/ the CL. just felt more sportier
-not as rare as the CL. see a few accords daily
-the accord is missing things the CL came with like HID's, side mirror tilt when in reverse, power passenger seat, fold down arm rest in the back seat

Safety Car
I came from a 2G RL before I got my 370Z and then CL-S.
It is a good car and SH-AWD really works. The car feels smaller than it really is. I didn't have the A-Spec suspension so it was a bit soft. The main problem is that SH-AWD robs power through a lot of drivetrain loss. You had to run the engine pretty hard just to get the car moving decently, which really affects your mileage. Highway mileage was pretty good at 25+ but city mileage could drop it down to 16.
I had an 05 MY and it developed a lot of issues common to that first year. If you ever want to get one, I would highly recommend getting a 06+.

Seen this Accord in person it's so mint. The 8th gen 6-6 coupes are pretty much modern CL's. Throw some Vossen's on that and stance it out like this:

and nice CL...felt so good to see one again! let me know how you like the axle backs

I just wish the AV6-6 had an LSD.
