can someone please explain to me the facination for this rc toys? i used to love rc's...when i was 10...and some of these are very, very expensive. But what about the car in the link...sway bars? custom rims? dam its wierd...still, it does look pretty nice.

 

He probably races the car on the track...a lot of people that race work their RC cars to the balls with go fast and handling goodies. I've got 3...2 nitro powered and 1 electric. Of the gas powered I've worked my RC10GT truck to the balls ($1,500 invested on top of the truck itself)...it's running a 5 port turbo motor from RB, grafite shock towers, oversized gas tank amoungst other upgrades and my Serpant Impulse has gotten a little in the upgrade dept too (about $400 in upgrades).

Moddiing is a sickness I tell you!
