Check out my sweet new system!

psyche.
my oem head unit apparently shorted out, as one day when i started up my car to drive home from work the stereo turned itself on and started blasting music at full volume, and none of the controls including the wolume/power button worked. I turned my car off then back on and then the head unit stopped working all together.
THEN one night driving home the head unit miraculously turned itself on again but started spitting my cd's out at me. So then i took my car to Acura of Ramsey for a diagnosis and after getting hassled by John, another guy took my car and i had been driving a TSX for a week while they ordered me a new head.

So then this week they called me to pick up my car, but much to my chagrin, there was still had no head unit in there. So i asked what the hell happened and they said they couldn't get me another OEM head unit, so they ordered a Pioneer unit, but i'd have to wait another five days until it came in.

SO. here are some pics of my gaping hole. <---(that sounds pretty nasty )

ALSO in other Ryan's Car news, i converted my shift gate to LED by using the piece SubtleDreamer was selling a while back and a 74 size bulb. It looks pretty cool; i've gotten a couple compliments on it.
daytime:

nighttime:

hotspot:

as you can see, there's a hotspot by the D, but i put a piece of semi see-through scotch tape over it and since fixed it.

But wait, there's more! For my birthday yesterday, 12 of my friends all chipped in and bought me a set of Magnaflow 14814 mufflers. There's essentially the same as the 14832's that people have used here on AZ but they're a slight angle cut. Once i get them installed i'll take some pics.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me as how to go about doing a custom exhaust system with my Magnaflows? I want my tone to be deep and powerful, but not raspy or overly loud.

Alright that's about it, thanks for reading.

You've got nice friends! I am no help to you on the exhaust, but I would see if the stealership will give you a cash value on a head unit so you can throw in a Navi system. Just my

Dude, eBAY or the BM. I've seen them for $100 and less. Or, use this opportunity to upgrade to a Double DIN nav unit. I personally like the bone stock look.

Well since i got my CL certefied preowned from that dealer, i'm still covered under their extended-certefied whatever it is warranty for another few months. So i'm paying a $100 deductible for all the parts and labor, which isn't too bad i guess.

I just think i'm going insane without any music in my car; I've started singing to myself and everything haha

for the exhaust, keep the resonator and cat on the car. that will help keep the tone from being too loud or rhaspy.

I would demand a new OEM head unit. They can find you one somewhere, whether it's new or used. I have a Pioneer in my car and it works fine, but the stock one looks SO much better...and it plays 6 discs, and it reads scratched cd's much better.

Can't wait to see those mufflers on your car. Post picts as soon as it's done, as well as the Pioneer head unit.

you got it bro

OH. another question. I might want to get a custom job done with my Magnaflows, maybe 2.5" piping or something like that. Does anyone know of a good place to go to get this done? And even if i just go with the stock resonator/cat i'll still need to take it somewhere. There's a Meineke 5 minutes from my house but i've heard they've tried to rip people off and their materials are sub-par, and i know CleanCL went down to E-Shift to get his done but i have no idea how much it'll cost me to get it done there.
If anyone, experienced or not, has any suggestions for me that would be spectacular.
Thanks
