Check Engine Light Is On
My check engine light came on this morning. Its been snowing here so my VSA and ABS were getting a work out. Could It be one of those? Where can I get one of those things that shows me the codes and how much are they?

Most auto parts stores will read codes for free. Just bring it to one of them and let us know of the code they came up with

...this might sound very CRAZY... but a couple winters ago (when it was seriously cold for Htown) , I left my CLS at the bush airport for about a week while i was out of town, and RATS got into my engine and chewed about $500 dollars worth of wiring and my check engine lite came on 
...dealership had to replace it for me... my tranny had already died and been replaced so i knew it wasnt the problem... 
... hope urs is really something simple!!!!
