Check engine light is on...
My check engine light just turned on...
When I go WOT my car lurches forward now and then the VSA light and the Exclamation point light turn on. Once the car gets in this state the automatic transmission no longer changes gears!
If I drive it in SS mode I can still change gears. I'm bringing it in for warranty service today. Anybody have any ideas?

That's what I figured...
I thought it must have been the transmission, particularly with the car lurching forward like it has been doing and all of the threads about the transmission failures.
If ne1 is doing a poll on transmission failures they may want the following information.
8 months old
25,000 miles
I drive it very, very hard, but have no modifications except for 18" wheels and a CAI
I'm also getting the back console repaired (the key lock pulled out), my stereo backlight shorted because change fell into it, my brake light rattles when I play my stereo, and my hood isn't closing "flush" with the front of the car.

Acura fixed it!
So, the Acura dealer told me that there was an error code in the ECU indicating a VSA failure. This failure caused another error code to be generated in the ABS system.
They checked one of the VSA modules and found that it was working fine and now my car is up and running again.
Apparently when I was getting some body work done at the shop they dropped something in the engine compartment because the Acura dealer showed me a big dent in one of the metal pipes running to the radiator. He also said that that was where the ECU or one of the detection modules was located.
Oh yeah, and they're replacing the stereo that my girlfriend dropped pennies in...the backlight is out, but other than that it works fine.
