Cgecked out the new 530i today at the bimer dealer
They had two of them there already, a le mans blue one and a that darkish silver color. I love the exterior of the car, the styling is great. I was their with my friend who has a 540 so hes lookin at the new 5 series even though i was trying to steer him to the //m3. I didnt really like the interior of the 5 series though, it just doesnt look nice and it seems like they used cheap materials. With decent options it came out to 53k, i'd much rather have a m3 coupe.

Yea my dad is trying to decide between getting a mb e500 or the new 540. I like the mb, but i like how you can get the 540 in manual, but he will get auto so that doesnt matter anyway. What you guys get?

I saw one two nights ago at the BMW dealer across the street from my office. Looks great in person (except back end) and a 530 was $52+K. That's a lotta scratch for a 3 liter engine!

still a Masshole
I'd get a slightly used current generation M5 for 50-60k if I could find one. Saw one yesterday and that car is beautiful no matter how old the styling is! There is some local guy supposedly selling his for around 55K and it has low miles! Shit, if I only had a few more Gs! ok, a lot more Gs!

The new 5 series Bimmers look ok but the previous generation is still my favorite. It would have to be either an M5 or a 540i for me to get into a 5 series.
