Exclamation certified warranty about to expire

Guys,

I own a 01 White CLS. My full warranty is close to expire. I have got only less than 4000 miles to go bfr it expires. There is nothing wrong with my car except for few dings and paint chippings..but I did notice that on my rear bumper the paint is fading.

I am just wondering can I go to the dealers and ask them to replace anything tht can be replaced and make use of this warranty before it expires. If I can make use of this warrantly, can u ppl give some ideas on how to? Dealer is not losing anything as they charge everything back to Acura.

I live in NYC, if you know any nice dealers let me know.

Thanks

You can go in, however they may charge you to look it over. Warranty or not. Warranty only covers things that break. If nothing is broke, they may charge you for the tech time to look it over. It's like getting the car inspected if you were buying it.
Depends on the dealer.

You can always go in and complain that something feel different but you have to be specific. Like if you want them to check out the suspension, just go in and complain that you're hearing some knocking at times. Make excuses. That should not cost anything, but you cannot get them to do a complete check, it has to be just one or two things. For instance, I had my axles checked about 6 months ago because I heard some noise. They didn't find anything wrong and they kept the car for 2 days, gave me a loaner and didn't charge me a penny. As long as you have a specific complaint, they would more than likely check it for free.

And warranty is not for things you just want replaced for the hell of it. It has to be broken.

I take my car to Springfield Acura in Jersey. It's about 20 minutes from the Holland. They're pretty good about things. But call them first.

I called up a dealer in Valley Stream, long island. He told that, they will charge me $90 for inspecting, if they don't find anything wrong with the car.

How did you get your dealer not to charge you the inspection fee?

I just told them that I heard some weird noise when turing, it sounded like the CV's and they told me to bring it in. They looked at it, called me the next day and said they didn't see anything wrong and I was on my way. No charge. They did say the lubed it up, and the noise is gone.
