CCC tail light tints

Does anyone have the tail light tints CCC offers? I personally prefer it over the 2003 tail light look. (Braces for flurry of angry exclamations). Maybe just cause I'm jealous of the 2003 look anyway :P. Anyways. ... if anyone has those, do they have any pictures?

Makes no sense, the tints are intended for the 03 tails, the clear/white area is tinted, not the red.

It will fit because the lights are the same size but I don't think it would look very good on the 01-02 lights

Wow this is weird I was actually thinking about doing this today ..

Does anyone have pics of tail lights tinted on an Anthracite?

How much does it affect the brightness of the reverse lights? Or the blinkers? Did you switch to brighter bulbs for both? Is it something I could fail inspection for?

All questions I would like to know the answers to as well.

-And I'm sittin' here... trying to picture how it would look on an '01 (don't got the cash to throw down for '03 lights) =/

-Screw it. It's time for Altezza style euro clears. 3.2CL Type SiRGTSPecVGT here I come.

Take a look at this:

It does effect the brightness of the reverse lights. With my tinted windows, it's like I don't have reverse lights at all but I'm sure most people can see me fine when I back up.

Blader, I have a picture of mine with the dark tint at howm I can send later. I removed it thinking it looked too dark tho. I may go with the lighter shade. Don't know how strict NJ is on car lights.

youll probably fail inspection if you bring it to the state inspection station, they failed my friend for eyelids on his impreza and almost on his exhaust. I mean they can really fail you if they want its up to the guy whose doin the inspection. I thought about tinting out my 01 tailights completely since i got 20% all around and i got a black car, but im not gonna do it anymore since the cops around me all know me and love pullin me over anyway for my tints, also I would get brighter rear bulbs in that instance if you plan on doin it, techinically when you tint something only that % of light is suppose to be transmitted so..... the brightness of the bulb should be affected

I dont see how bad it could be? Has anyone seen the tail lights of an SL55? They are smoked DARK. This tint isnt any darker honestly. But I am sure cops will probably hassle I would probably get the light tint.

OEM my friend. I doubt they would know the difference, although they could probably see the tint edges on the non-OEM.

Right but its pretty shitty that just because their lights are smoked dark stock, that they are allowed to get away with it. I drove one the other night and i took a good look at it, they are smoked pretty friggin dark.

Actually I have a pic I'll post later.
