Just make sure you clean them all the time....polish them with metal polish....the brake dust is what kills the finish on them....
oh yeah...that salt you put on your roads will eat up that finish too...so hose it down a lot...

I tell my neighbors this all the time:
It's easier to clean a clean car, than a dirty car ! Wash rims often (weekly), if not every other day.

Put some sort of protective covering on them, wax or anything to protect from salt. I didn't with my Lexus GS300. All it took was a week of exposure to salt without washing and I had pits in the chrome.

I'm with 4pumpedCL. Mothers is the best wheel polish! I used many and always come back to Mothers! For our stock wheels I am using some spray Mequiars and it works fine. Good luck!

I will take them off once we get some snow...

None in the forecast for the next 2 weeks at least... thats 2 weeks of pimpin! why would I give that up!?

Plus, you know how it goes... it takes at least 2-3 measurable snowfalls before the shit sticks.

I also use Mother's Chrome Polish.

Too bad I am taking my chrome rims off soon for the coming winter.
