Carbon Fiber Hood or Repaint
Carbon Fiber Hood or Repaint
Hey guys,
So my hood is pretty beat up from rock chips and bird crap seeping through the clear coat. I called my shop and they said it's $300 to repaint.
If I got a carbon fiber hood how much does it cost? obviously the best deal is the option. Lowest I found a carbon fiber (vis) hood was for around 500.xx
Any suggestions where I can look and the prices for these?

vis is the best, there's another company Carbon Creations and Carbon EFX (i think) make them too... just go on ebay to check price. its like $350 shipped or something close to that.

Yea, those guys seem to be top notch. Ill be ordering my stuff from them as well.
I vote CF, and Id go with VIS. They have been in the game for quite some time. There are other brands, but I am unsure about fitment or what their quality is (clearcoat, grade A cf, and so forth). Seibon also has been around for awhile and makes some good stuff, but I dont think they do the CL.

For the CL...considering fitment and overall quality.
VIS > *
Mine needs to be wet-sanded and cleared.
I'd probably sell it to you locally if you care for it.
Let me know.
