how much does the stock hood weigh on our CL's. and how much does the cf hood weigh? any other things we can do to make the car lighter?.. cept for taking out the back seats? also seen a cf trunk.. any info on that?

 

thought i read here the other day that stock is around 47 and cf is 14. could be wrong though.

if you want to lose weight, you can get rid of stuff like a/c and washer fluid res.
but thats not practical, and takes much needed weight off the front wheels for traction. that would be a bad thing since you are prob looking to gain quicker e.t.'s and wheel spin could increase if you take weight off the drive wheels.

 

i weighed my VIS hood at 19lbs. stocker is probably in the 40's
