I'm curious and interested.
I'm ready to turf the Versus lip that I have on and get something perhaps with less sticking out...

It's exactly how ours will look, it'll just stay flush with the under part of the bumper, not sticking out very far. Extremely subtle, but adds a ton of aggression to the front of the car. On our car, I can't even imagine how much it'll add to our car. I hate all those lips and kits that stick out 5 feet and look awful (IMHO).

- Versus
- Ronjon's modded Versus
- Ronjon's current
- Converted TL
IMO, they are pretty nice and work well with the curves and lines of the CL.
You then have the uggo kits like the ones offered by JT Autostyle which are just nasty. And also, these kits are not attached onto the existing bumper but rather entire replacements. So, they aren't lip kits, per se. Way too aggressive and not suitable given the type of car the CL is. And unless you are referring to the Versus kit, most don't jut out that much...
Of course, you are entitled to your opinion...but, I just felt I needed to make my point as well.

None of those cars have body kits and the lip is beneath. It does not make it look necessary to have side skirts or anything of the sort. I believe we can get $400 shipped with 30+ orders, or $475 for 20. I know there is plenty of interest, I wish I could just get a sample version to show you all how nice it looks, then we'd be smooth sailing.

STi:
I know of a few people I could contact and have one custom fit for our cars if there was a group buy large enough. I'd assume I'd need somewhere around 15-20 people and a $50-100 deposit. The total cost shipped I'd guess would be around $250-350 and I'd guess between 3-8 months for production.
Anyway, this is just about the most preliminary thread I could make about it. I'm just curious to see what the HONEST interest level would be (and that means that you'd have the $50-100 deposit, then when it's ready, the rest of the $150-300 more. If I see enough interest, I can make some calls and see what kind of numbers I could do.
Also, if anyone likes the idea, but would want a different design, we could of course work on it. Let me know if you're interested!

As for everyone else. I will not pay $599 for it, that is a fact. So we'd need atleast 20 for me to be in on it. There is only a $150 deposit for it and the rest is paid when the lips are ready to be shipped, which wouldn't be for atleast 2 months. Anyway, let's get a serious list started for those who agree that it must be atleast 20 people.

Just to point out again, for 20 people, it'll be $475, for 30, $400. I may not be able to get in on this because I may possibly be buying a bike instead of modding my CL-S anymore. If I do decide to go this route instead, I will forward anyone who is interested my guy's contact information and they can follow through.

Looking at a starter bike, Katana 600, but it doesn't look like it's going to work out. So, if we get to 20, I'm still in on this group buy. Please everyone who is interested respond. You will only need $150 down and the additional will be paid 2 months later when the product is finished. Thanks guys!

Hey Guys,
I think if this lip is able to fit on the TL kit as well as the CL kit, then alot more people would be interested-me for one. If you could find out if this guy could make this 'lip' long and wide enough where it would look good on both kits, then you'll have more people signing up on this groupbuy. Try to post over at the 2nd Gen-TL section when you find out and see how many people would be interested.

Found this:
http://www.aprperformance.com/index....d=79&Itemid=44
It's for an Evo, but could probably be fitted to any car. Evo has kind of a similar pointy front end as our cars. Anyone think it'd work and look good (those who like the splitter look...)?
