Car wheel hopping in rain?

Everytime it rains I get this weird thing that freaks the shit out of me and my passengers. Anytime I accelerate any faster than a grandma, my front right tire starts to wheel hop and the whole car jumps up and down and it makes a sound of like metal popping.. I don't remember this ever happening.. Do you guys get this too? What could it be? A shock gone bad?

Any insight would help, I am taking my car in next week for a massive service:

- Sunroof Squeak
- Brakes Warped
- 4 Wheel Alignment and Rotation
- Centre Arm rest not staying closed
- Dash rattles ( where to tell them, sounds liek far right cornerairbag)?
- Transmission flush (18000 kms, or 12000 miles)
- Oil change

With traction control on or off it happens...

I am not talking full out street racing, just accelerating.

I have had that problem a lot too...its just axle hop under power with the wheel spinning...the wheel slips on the wet pavement and spins quicky, but it sorta gets a bit of traction here and there and that causes it to hop up and down...I doubt it's a shock problem or anything...just normal...
happens even worse with a rear wheel drive car...
